Tim represents clients injured in auto and truck accidents, motorcycle crashes, admiralty and maritime injuries, Longshore and DBA claims, premises liability, slip and fall case, medical malpractice and all other injury claims. Tim has been an attorney since 2001. He knows the playbooks of the insurance companies and outworks defense attorneys.
Christian Van Riper is a lifelong resident of Stuart, Florida and a former Felony Prosecutor. Christian was selected out of law school as a Law Clerk for the Florida Supreme Court; an honor very few attorneys in the State of Florida are selected for.
As a prosecutor, he tried multiple serious felony cases out of the State Attorney's Office in St. Lucie County. With a caseload in the 100s, Christian was able to hone his jury trial skills and ability to think and work under incredible pressure and time constraints.
Christian represents clients injured in boating accidents, motor vehicle crashes, slip and falls, dog bites and all other personal injury claims.
Sarah is a lifelong resident of Stuart. She has been a personal injury paralegal for nearly two decades.Sarah joined Van Riper & Nies in May 2010. She specializes in not only personal injury and motor vehicle accidents but also in the litigation of claims under the Longshore & Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act and the United States Defense Base Act.
Her duties include meeting with clients, drafting and preparation of legal documents, responding to discovery and preparing the attorneys for hearings, mediations, depositions and trials. Sarah uses her considerable litigation experience and superior customer service experience to fight for the rights of the firm’s clients. She has been a licensed Notary Public since 2002.
Sandra is an experienced and passionate personal injury paralegal. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Indian River State College. Sandra assists the attorneys in personal injury and auto accident cases.
Sandra is known for her considerable multitasking skills and for helping clients in transition after sustaining injuries by providing passionate support to the attorneys and the firm’s clients. Sandra assists clients by providing regular contact and updates on their cases, managing the discovery process, and assisting in the drafting of pleadings, discovery responses and document production. She stays late to make sure that our attorneys are prepared. Sandra enjoys spending time with her family, going to the gym and participating in competitive racing.
